No charge, no obligation
Send us your bill.
Most IT invoices are built from lines nobody has reviewed since they were added. This is the cheapest way to find out what you are actually paying for.
No access to your systems, no meeting required. Send the invoice and we will tell you what each line buys, what it would sit under here, and where you are paying twice for the same thing. You will get that back whether or not you go any further with us.
What we look for
- Lines that buy the same thing twice, usually because one of them survived a change of product.
- Licences for people who have left, and premium licences on accounts that never use what they pay for.
- Things billed as extras that sit inside a managed agreement elsewhere, and things described so vaguely that nobody could tell you what they are.
- Whatever is genuinely good value, because that is worth knowing too, and it is usually the part a competitor would tell you to drop.
How to send it
Email it to hello@puzzletech.co.uk, with "bill mapping" in the subject. A PDF is ideal; a photograph of a paper bill is fine, as is a spreadsheet if that is what your provider sends. There is no upload on this page because we would rather not be another website holding your invoices, and your own mail already does the job.
If your agreement says the pricing is confidential, redact the figures and send it anyway — the structure is where the answer usually is, and we can map that without ever seeing a number.
Or fill this in and we will come to you instead. Either route gets you the same thing.
Ask for a bill mapping
This form needs JavaScript, because the spam check does — so rather than have you fill it in and find there is no way to send it, we have taken it away.
Email hello@puzzletech.co.uk for anything to do with sales, or help@puzzletech.co.uk if you are already a customer and need support. Or call 01480 570339. All of them reach the same place, and none of them is slower.
What happens next
We reply within one working day, either with the mapping or with what we still need to do it. You get it back in writing, and it is yours whatever you decide — how we charge is published in full, so you can compare it to us as easily as to anyone else.
Questions people ask
- Do you need access to our systems?
- No. The invoice is enough. If something on it is ambiguous we will ask you rather than go looking.
- What do we get back?
- What each line buys, what it would sit under on our own list, and where you are paying twice for the same thing. In writing, and yours to keep whether or not you take it any further with us.
- Will this turn into a sales process?
- You get the mapping either way, and there is no obligation to do anything with it. We will follow up once to ask what you made of it — that is the honest reason we offer it — and if the answer is no, that is the end of it.
- We are mid-contract. Is it still worth doing?
- Usually more so. Knowing what you are paying for is most useful while there is still time to act on it before your notice deadline, rather than in the week you have to decide.
