What we do
Phones, lines and networks
The parts that are invisible until they stop, and the ones where being able to shout at one supplier rather than three is worth the most.
What this is
Connectivity into your buildings, telephony on top of it, and the switches, firewalls and wireless in between. The reason to buy it from the same place that supports your IT is accountability: when something stops, one supplier owns the problem.
What is actually delivered
Business connectivity. Broadband, fibre and leased lines, specified against what your business actually does rather than the headline speed. Backup connectivity where an outage would genuinely stop work.
Hosted telephony. Numbers, call routing, hunt groups, out-of-hours handling and softphones, including the migration from traditional lines that every business still on them now needs to plan.
Firewalls and network equipment. Specified, configured, patched and monitored, with the configuration documented and held by us so a failed device is a replacement rather than a rebuild.
Wireless. Designed for the building rather than guessed at, with separate guest access that cannot reach your internal systems.
Fault management. We raise it, we chase the carrier, and we tell you what is happening. Carrier fault processes are slow and largely impervious to being shouted at, which is exactly why you should not have to do it.
A deliberate omission
We do not name the vendors we use on this site. What you are buying is a managed service: we choose the products that do the best job for our customers and change them when something better comes along, which is the part of the work you are paying us to do. What the service does is above. You will see the specifics on your quote.
How it is charged
Lines and calls are third-party costs. Equipment is either bought outright or included in a project. Ongoing management appears on your quote and on your monthly bill where it applies.

Questions people ask
- Our internet goes down and everyone blames everyone else. Can you fix that?
- Not the physics of it — almost all UK infrastructure is laid by a handful of operators, and the line you buy from anyone else is the same cable. What changes is who chases it. We buy through an intermediary that gives us a service on that cable, and when we also supply the router and the support there is nobody to pass the fault to: we raise it, chase the carrier and tell you where it has got to. Buy the line elsewhere and we will still help, just less efficiently, because we are then asking on your behalf rather than as the customer of record.
- What happens to our phones when the analogue network is switched off?
- It is due in January 2027, and the date has moved before — it is currently said to be firm, which is also what was said last time. Anything connected to an analogue line has to become digital in some form: VoIP, SIP trunks, or a hosted or on-premises phone system. It affects alarm lines, door entry systems and lift phones as well as handsets, and those are the ones that get forgotten until they stop.
- Do you mark up connectivity?
- Yes. We have to make money or there is no business here to answer your call, and we would rather say that than pretend otherwise. We aim to stay competitive within a small margin, and what it buys you is the part a large network operator does not sell: someone who knows your name and your circuits, and will chase a fault on your behalf. That has a cost, and this is where it sits.
- Can you support a network you did not install?
- Usually yes, once we have documented it. Where equipment is past support or configured in a way we cannot stand behind, we will say so and quote to put it right rather than take responsibility for something we cannot maintain.
